Established in 1980, Contact Photography & PhotoDesign is located in Derby at the very centre of England. With excellent road, rail and air links to all of the United Kingdom and Europe we are able to service a wide area from our base in the East Midlands.

We have a long history of using the latest digital techniques, having first entered the digital field in 1984. Partner in the company. Len Hewitt, has been involved with digital processing since 1970 when he was employed maintaining Flight Simulators in the Royal Air Force, and is a volunteer Sysop on the Adobe Systems Web Forum, where he provides support on Photoshop, Illustrator, PageMaker, ImageReady, InDesign GoLive and PageMill. Len also handles the Industrial Location photography and custom web solutions

Design and Studio photography skills are provided by the other Partner, Emma Kerruish. The combination of Emma's creative expertise and Len's technical experience has produced a team of unparalleled strength in the fields of web design and desktop publishing.

From the beginning, Contact Photography has offered a wide range of services including Commercial and Advertising photography both in Studio and on Location, Slide Production, and the Design and Production of Exhibition Panels.

For the past 10 years our digital division Contact Digital Design Solutions (CDDS) has also offered Digital Retouching and Manipulation of still images, design and production of Leaflets, Advertisements and Brochures, and more recently Web Page design and construction, along with logotype design, and animations for web graphics. For printed output, we can offer digital files, or film separations for you to take to the printer of your choice, or alternatively, we can organize the print for you.
