If you have an e-mail account then the chances are that your Service Provider also offers some 'freespace'. This is web space that is provided at no additional cost to your e-mail account.

The problem with using this 'freespace' for a commercial site is that as it won't have your own Domain Name, it will be far more difficult for your customers to find. In addition a freespace account won't provide you with any information as to who or how many people are accessing your site, let alone where they are from or how they found your site. It is unlikely that you will be able to use 'feedback' forms from a freespace account or have any site search facilities on your site, and certainly will not be able to have any sort of e-commerce or other financial transactions on your site.

Freespace accounts also often place quite restrictive limits on the amount of 'traffic' on your site

Some Search engines also do not index freespace sites and so will never 'see' your site
